Mallard Ducks

On our way to Missionwoods

 

We made a quick stop as I noticed the large ducks on a

parking lot being fed by a family...hmmm. The ducks loved the treats.

Have always loved the vibrant emerald colors of the Mallard ducks.

 

 

One large family of Mallards: Male and Female.

And then I spotted this sad looking one...
wanting to keep up
Looked like he had a broken leg...he kept on running...
However, he did not think of himself as a sad looking one...
He just kept on running the race to keep up...
Whenever I see wildlife, watching them, I often think...how this parallels us...
Of how we as Human's must keep on running to the finish line...
To be the very best we can be...
